169 published historical entities and 81 relations, each with time extent, coordinates, and per-record source citations. The content of this site is licensed CC BY 4.0. Underlying boundary data comes from Cliopatria (CC BY 4.0) and OpenHistoricalMap (CC0). Reuse it freely, including commercially, with attribution.

Schema notes

• Time: start / end are ISO-ish strings; BCE years are negative (-0500). precision is one of century / year / month / day. A null end means “ongoing or unknown”.
• Space: geometry is a GeoJSON Point for most entities and a Polygon for conflicts. Container types carry spans[] instead of a single geometry.
• Sources: every record carries at least one citation with a licence id. Boundary data is a separate layer; see each scenario for its per-frame attribution.
