The Onega petroglyphs are a large group of prehistoric rock engravings on the eastern shore of Lake Onega in Karelia, north-west Russia. Carved on lakeside granite outcrops, they show human and animal figures, boats and geometric motifs, dating mainly to the Neolithic and Bronze Age.
